I started doing some research to find out what was involved in replacing the factory deck but I came up with fewer answers than questions. One guy told me I need a module of some sort to go between the cars wiring harness and the new deck to maintain functionality of the cars electrical system but nobody could tell me why (not that it matters, I'm just a guy that likes to know why).

Has anyone replaced the factory deck yet? You guys may not want to but I got a base Cobalt and the only thing that drives me nuts is the stereo sounds like ass...lol.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
